Dance Fest is an opportunity for teachers and their students to share and celebrate dancing. Dance Fest is not a competitive situation, but rather an opportunity for an entire class of children to participate in a function designed to provide an extension to the dance taught in the instructional program. Dance Fest serves as a vehicle through which “dance ideas” can be shared in an atmosphere of joy and celebration. There is also an opportunity to integrate the Physical Education Curriculum with the Arts Curriculum.
