A: Report cards from summer school have been sent to your home school. Check with your guidance office, at your home school, for a copy of your report cards.

Q: What are the Hours of the Summer School Office?
A: During July, the Summer School Office on each campus is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am until 2:30pm at each site.
Q: When do Summer School classes start and end?
A: Classes begin both onsite and online on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Final exams for onsite courses take place on Thursday, July 25, 2019 and Course Review day for both online and onsite students is on Friday, July 26, 2019.
Q: Where do onsite Grade 9 and 10 courses take place?
A: Grade 9 and 10 courses are held at John Paul II Catholic Secondary School located at 1300 Oxford Street East in London, ON.
Grade 11 and 12 courses take place at Catholic Central High School located at 450 Dundas Street in London, ON.
Q: What is the daily schedule for Summer School campuses?
A: Both CCH and JPII begin at 8:00am and end at 2:30pm, from July 2 - 26. Students will receive a daily 30 minute lunch. July 26 is an exam review day (8am - 10am).
Q: Where can I find the Orientation Video for on-line courses?
Q: How do I login to access an Online Course?
A: To access the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for an online course, go to ldcsb.ca >Students >VLE(D2L) Login. You will need your LDCSB login information (sent to non-ldcsb students via e-mail). You must login in on July 2, 2019 to remain in the course.
Q: What do I do if I am having difficulty with my on-line course?
A: When you are logged into the Virtual Learning Environment, there is a Student Help section that may answer questions with your difficulty. You can also message your teacher through the on-line course and explain the difficulty you are having. Remember, teachers are not available on-line 24/7 so you may have to wait for an answer. If you are having difficulties using any of the course tools, please check out the D2L Online Knowledge Base or contact D2L Technical Support at 1-800-222-0209 who are available 24/7.
Q: Do On-line Courses have final exams?
A: No, Online courses do not have final exams, however they do include a Culminating Activity.
Q: Who do I notify regarding a late arrival or absence?
A: For Grade 9 and 10 students please call (519) 675-4429 and for Grade 11 and 12 students please call (519) 675-4419.
If a student will be late or absent, the student or their parent or guardian if under 18, must call the on-site Summer School office at the appropriate campus. Do not call the main attendance lines at Catholic Central High School or John Paul II as these phones will not be monitored during the summer.
Q: If I want to drop my summer school course, who do I contact?
A: If you would like to drop a course, you will need to contact the appropriate Summer School Office, for Grades 9 and 10 at (519) 675-4429 and for Grades 11 and 12 at (519) 675-4419 and you will be asked to provide a reason and other relevant information so that your request can be processed. Please note, to avoid academic penalty, you must drop the course prior to July 12, 2019.

A: Both On-line and Onsite students are invited to come to see their teachers. Grade 9 and 10 students go to John Paul II and 11 and 12 students go to Catholic Central. Exam and Course review day takes place at each locations from 8am -10am.
