About Our School
St. Patrick Catholic School is situated just east of Highway # 4 and approximately 4 kilometres south of the village of Lucan. We are a rural community and all of our students are bussed to school. The school was built in 1962 and an addition was built in 1975. The school serves 220 students who come from 180 families. The students have a predominately English speaking background. The community is Dutch, Irish and German. Our school offers the following support services for students: speech and language, physiotherapy or occupational support, social work consultation and hearing services. There is a piano teacher and a guitar teacher who offers lessons at the school to students.
Living Our Faith
Our school community reaches out to the wider community often. The Student Parliament does fundraisers during Lent and Advent to support our sisters and brothers in others parts of the world. We conduct food drives to support the Ailsa Craig food bank.
