Student Accident Insurance

The London District Catholic School Board does not provide student accident insurance coverage for student injuries that occur on school premises or during school-sponsored activities including extracurricular sports. Parents/guardians are responsible for deciding whether or not to purchase student accident insurance.

For just pennies a day, student accident insurance helps to protect your family from costs not covered by your provincial health plan or employee benefits if your child is injured. Whether an accident happens on school property, during school-sponsored activities, playing in a park or even your own backyard. 

Each program offers a variety of options, including family rates. The cost must be paid by the parent or guardian. You may purchase your policy directly online or by contacting the Provider. The insurance agreement will be between You and the insurance underwriter (not the School Board).

It is strongly recommended that all families consider this coverage, especially if your child participates in extracurricular activities.
