In the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity and amidst polarizations, both within Christian traditions and between us, how is Jesus' prayer in John 17, that they may be one being lived today? The current climate of polarization drives wedges within and between Christian communities. Are there signs of hope? From experience of parish and diocesan leadership and ecumenical dialogue. Bishop Nicholls will explore the signs of hope for unity.
Free admission. Free parking. Wheelchair accessible.

The KAIROS Blanket Exercise program is a unique, interactive and participatory history lesson developed in collaboration with Indigenous Elders, knowledge keepers and educators. The
KAIROS Blanket Exercise (KBE) covers more than 500 years in a 90-minute experiential workshop that aims to foster understanding about our shared history as Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples.
During the KBE, participants walk on blankets representing the land and learn about the role of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples by reading scrolls and carrying cards which ultimately determine their outcome as they literally ‘walk’ through situations that include pre-contact, treaty-making, colonization and resistance. The Exercise concludes with a debriefing, conducted as a ‘talking circle’, during which participants discuss the learning experience, process their feelings, ask questions, share insights and deepen their understanding.
There is no cost, but registration is required. To register, please contact Lisa at

“I thirst” reflects the convergence of two thirsts – our thirst for Jesus, quenched only by our knowing Him; and His thirst for each of us at every single moment.

The 2020 Pure Life Summit theme “I Thirst” draws from “YOU: Life, Love, and Theology of the Body” – the program from our Monthly Pure Life Gatherings. The summit seeks to offer participants an understanding of their value as a whole person: their bodies, their sexuality, and their individual call to love. In addition, the summit seeks to encourage youth to share this truth with their friends and family at home, school, and in their parishes.
  • Cost: $50 per person
  • Speakers: John Bishop (from FOCUS) and Katelyn Miller (from Renewal Ministries) with Fr. Thom Blondin (Parish Administrator of All Saints Strathroy, Sacred Heart Delaware, St. Charles Glencoe)

By participating in the Youth Leadership program, young people will learn speaking and
leadership skills that they will be able to use for the rest of their lives. They will learn to:
  • Overcome the nervousness everyone feels when asked to speak before an audience
  • Organize and present their ideas logically and convincingly
  • Listen carefully to others’ ideas
  • Offer advice that will help others improve their speaking and leadership skills
  • Participate in - and even lead - group discussions and meetings
  • Increase their self-confidence and, best of all, they will have fun while they
    learn with their friends.
This Youth Leadership course is a program of Toastmasters International which is a
nonprofit organization that helps people develop communication and leadership skills.
More than four million people around the world have benefitted from Toastmasters clubs
since 1924.
