Non-Profit Leadership Program

Are you interested in making a difference in your community?

Are you excited to bring about positive change in the world?

The Non Profit Program began at CCH in the 2014-2015 school year.  It is a specialized program that allows students to focus their learning on the non profit sector while meeting the requirements to graduate with their Ontario Secondary School Diploma.

The non profit sector offers a wide range of careers that are dynamic, engaging and rewarding in areas such as art, culture, social justice, education, information technology, health care, and social development.

The common vision throughout this growing sector in Canada's economy is the desire to make a difference both in our community and throughout the world working with various aid organizations.

Application Process:
All students applying to the NPLP are requested to download and print the following application.  Students must have one community reference as part of the application.

Specialist High Skills Major Application

Supplimentary Application - Non-Profit Student Application

Here is a list of course you need to choose from when entering courses in Career Cruising (Being Updated come back soon)

Community Reference:
This reference should be a person you have worked with or volunteered for in some capacity over the past few years.  This could be someone in your broader community, church community or school community.  If you select a teacher within the school community, please make sure that it is a teacher who you have worked with outside of the classroom so that he/she can comment on your contributions to your school community.

Please Note:
If you are applying from outside of the CCH community, we welcome your application!  Please drop off the completed application package to the main office and designate it 'attn: Mrs. Dobsinai' so that it can be considered for this coming year.
