Summer School 2019

Summer School with the London District Catholic School Board offers many opportunities.  Students can choose from classes that are done in-class at school, eLearning courses with teacher assistance at school once a week during summer school, Co-op classes for those who would like learn on the job while applying it to their current courses.  There are travel courses where students can earn a credit while travelling to different cities, such as Ottawa, Montreal and New York and even one that travels to Italy.  Meet new friends, take courses that will help open your timetable to take the courses for your next destination after high school or learn something new that you are interested in.  


How do I get a copy of my report card?

An unofficial copy of your summer school Report Card will be available for to pick up at the Summer School office at the Centre for Lifelong Learning, 1230 King St, London, ON, N5W 2Y2 MAP​ beginning on Monday July 29 until Thursday August 1 from 9 am to 2 pm 

At your Home School

Official report cards from summer school have been sent to your home school.  Check with your guidance office, at your home school, for a copy of your report cards.  

Please note:

The Summer School Office is unable to transmit final marks to Universities and Colleges. This is the responsibility of your home school.

The summer school office is closed.  The summer school phone #s are not answered and voice mail messages are not returned.

Please contact your home school for a copy of your report card, after August 2nd, 2019.

When does registration start and end for Summer School?

Registration forms for Summer School are now available. 

The last day to register for a summer school course is Wednesday, June 26, 2019

How do I register for classes?

    • Discuss your course choice with your guidance counsellor, or teacher and parents
    • Access a copy of the applicable registration form found here: Link to forms or pick up one from your school
    • The registration form for Co-Op is found here: Co-op registration form    Co-op forms require to 2 teacher references
    • The Co-op information form is found here: Co-op Information 
    • Complete the registration form.  
    • LDCSB students can submit their forms to the secondary school guidance office or elementary school main office.
    • Non-LDCSB students must send the original registration form by fax to the CFLL: 519-659-2282 or scan it and email to cfloa@ldcsb.ca, or drop it off at the CFLL Office  MAP​.
    • Don't forget to let your school know that you are taking a summer school course as you plan for summer school

When does summer school run?

Summer school course dates are July 2 to 26, 2019 inclusive. Typically the classes start at 8:00 am and end at 2:30 pm

When does the Summer School Office Open and how do I contact them?

The Summer School office opens May 6, 2019.

Frequently asked questions

  1. If I take an on-line course, will I meet my teacher?
    • There is an information session on Tuesday, June 25th, 2019, 6:00-7:00 p.m. where students taking an on-line course will be able to meet their summer school teacher.
  2. I have registered for a course and have not received confirmation that I am in the course
    • Confirmation calls and/or emails will begin on May 20th, 2019
  3. I am interested in taking the Edutravel Careers & Civics course.  Where can I get more information?
