OFSAA cross country was an extremely positive and challenging (steep rolling hills for half the 4km and 6km races) experience for the seven St. Joe's athletes representing the whole LDCSB board. The senior girls team finished 24th in the province.
Kyleigh Stubbs and Jocelyn Delgado are the first athletes in the history of the school to compete at OFSAA XC four years in a row. First time OFSAA competitors included Grace Gillet, Alyce McLean, Kaila Novick, and Arielle Atkin-Guignard and back in a supportive role was the ever-helpful Nikki Laframboise.
Kaila Novak, who is a National Junior Soccer player commented, after the race, that it was the hardest thing she has ever done in her life.
