Threat with the Intent to Cancel Classes Received by St. Thomas Police
Today, just after Noon, the St. Thomas Police Service received a threat with the intent to cancel classes at St. Joseph’s Catholic High School. This is the second attempt with that intent. A similar threat was received on the evening of Thursday March 22nd.
St. Thomas Police are involved in the ongoing investigation of these threats to ensure the safety of students, staff and the public.
The Board is confident in the steps that have been taken and in the ongoing police investigation into these very serious criminal matters.
As always, safety is of paramount importance and we will take all necessary means to cooperate with the police investigation leading to criminal charges.
