Elgin County/Kettle Creek Agricultural Conservation Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a student who is entering agriculturally related studies. Criteria includes demonstrated leadership and community involvement, satisfactory academic achievement and financial need.

Other Documentation: Academic records or letters of support may be included. Must attach a letter describing why you deserve this award.
National Union of Public & General Employees
Criteria: Offered to the children, grandchildren or foster children of the National Union's membership (includes members of OPSEU). Categories include: 1) Tommy Douglas (essay); 2) Terry Fox (students with disabilities); 3) Aboriginal Canadians; 4) Visible Minorities; 5) Brian Fudge (public service jobs)
Essay Required: 750-1,000 words – topics are provided
Value: 5 - $1,500
Professional Engineers Ontario
Criteria: Awarded to a student who will be attending an Ontario university engineering faculty. Preference will be given based on academics, extracurricular activities, and community service.
Essay Required: 500 words or less – why you want to become an engineer

Southwold Township Award
Criteria: Must be a current resident of Southwold and be pursuing studies in business administration; finance; environment; recreation leadership; agriculture, firefighting technology; government services or engineering (minimum 2-year fulltime studies).
Essay Required: One page indicating why you deserve this scholarship
Value: 2 - $1,000 (one male and one female)
Other Documentation: Provide a copy of the acceptance letter. List school, community, employment in the last 5 years.
