AIA & Global Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship

Criteria: Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time college program, university program or an accredited automotive program.  Priority will be given to those pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket.

Criteria: Have competed in an OFSAA middle distance event of 800 meters or greater or OFSAA Cross Country event.  Have attained an 80% + average in school.  Attended Grades 10 and 11 in Canada.

Canadian Hearing Society Award

Childhood Cancer Foundation

Criteria: Students entering a first year fine arts program (drawing, painting) or visual arts program (arts, photography, design, architecture, etc.).  Must have completed at least 3 years in a St. Thomas or Elgin County high school.

Essay Required: Letter outlining career objectives.

Value: 2 - $1,000

Other Documentation: Four original artworks that reflect their area of study and career path. Letter confirming acceptance and registration to program.

 

Justin Eves Foundation

Criteria: This award is for students with learning disabilities who will be attending a Canadian college or university.  Financial need is not a requirement but will be considered if the information is provided.

Leighton & Betty Brown Conservation Scholarship

Criteria: Awarded to students who live in the Long Point Region watershed area, have demonstrated academic achievement and have participated or volunteered in conservation related organizations/activities.  You must be pursuing studies in conservation, environmental studies, resource management and/or related fields.

Essay Required: Letter indicating why you wish to pursue an education in a conservation or resource management field.

Lions Club of St. Thomas Annual Bursary

Criteria: Awarded to a student who has overcome physical challenges/obstacles, has demonstrated financial need and achieves excellence in good citizenship, community involvement and contributes to their school community.

Monsanto Fund Opportunity Scholarship

Ontario Teachers' Insurance Plan (OTIP)
