The Religious Education Courses, grades 9 - 12, enable the students to meet Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations. The grade 9 and 10 courses do this by developing the students' awareness and understanding of Christ, Sacred Scripture, the Church, Family Life, and the Catholic Church's teachings regarding morality and justice. The grade 11 courses enable each person to become a discerning believer formed in the Catholic faith community who respects the faith traditions, world religions, and the life-journeys of all people of good will.
The grade 12 courses offer students two avenues. The "Church and Culture" courses challenge students to understand the connection between Catholic moral principles rooted in Sacred Scripture as elated to issues of justice and peace. The philosophy course will prepare students to deepen their critical thinking skills in relation to contemporary social issues as demonstrated in various philosophical ideas while discovering the rich heritage of Catholic philosophical tradition.
