Principal/Vice Principal Changes

Retirements

The following principals will be retiring:

 

Suzanne Terpstra, currently Principal at St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School, is retiring effective January 31, 2024.

 

Annette Marentette, currently Principal at St. Nicholas Elementary School, is retiring effective February 29, 2024.

 

We extend our congratulations and our thanks to Suzanne and Annette for their years of dedicated service to the students of our Board.

 

 

Changes and Appointments

 

Patrick Gilson, currently Secondary Principal, Catholic Central High, is transferred as Secondary Principal, Saint Andre Bessette, effective February 1, 2024.

 

Catherine Veteri, currently Secondary Vice-Principal, Catholic Central High, is appointed as Secondary Principal, at Catholic Central High, effective February 1, 2024.

 

Alex Blando, currently Secondary Teacher, Mother Teresa Secondary School, is appointed as Secondary Vice-Principal, Saint Andre Bessette, effective February 1, 2024.

 

Jennifer O’Neil, currently Vice-Principal, Saint Andre Bessette Secondary School, is transferred as Secondary Vice-Principal, John Paul II Secondary School, effective February 1, 2024.

 

Sharon Bryant, currently Elementary Vice-Principal, St. Nicholas Elementary School, is appointed as Acting Elementary Principal, St. Nicholas Elementary School, effective January 8, 2024.

 

Geoff Moore, currently Principal, Education Community Partnership Program at St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, will maintain his current role to June 30, 2024, and assume the role of Elementary Principal of the new Northwest Elementary school, effective February 1, 2024.

 

Chrisoula Van Oirschot, currently SPST at St. Nicholas Elementary School, is appointed as Elementary Vice-Principal at St. John French Immersion Elementary School, effective February 5, 2024.

 

Tania Davies, currently Vice-Principal at St. Catherine of Siena Elementary School, is appointed Acting Principal at St. Vincent de Paul Elementary School, effective January 29, 2024.
