Municipal Elections Compliance Audit Committee

Election Compliance Audit Committee Purpose
In accordance with the 
Municipal Elections Act, 1996 (“MEA”), the London District Catholic  School Board's Election Compliance Audit Committee considers compliance audit applications with regard to trustee candidates’ financial statements filed under Section 88.33 to 88.37 of the MEA for the most recent election.

The purpose of the Election Compliance Audit Committee is to:

  1. Consider a compliance audit application received from an elector and decide whether it should be granted or rejected;
  2. If the application is granted, appoint an auditor;
  3. Receive the auditor’s report; and
  4. Consider the auditor’s report and decide whether legal proceedings should be commenced.
