Summer Co-op Information: 2024

 

In order to be considered for summer co-op you must submit the following documents by
Friday, March 8:

 

1. Summer school application with co-op selected as your course
   
2. Summer co-op application which can be accessed at: https://forms.office.com/r/fucbTTLeYb
3. Two teacher reference forms which must be submitted by the teachers you ask using the link: https://forms.office.com/r/v5TFQ681zK

**applications submitted after March 8 will be placed on a wait list

 

 

After submitting these documents you must be prepared to:

 

• Check your school email on a regular basis for important summer co-op updates.
  
  
• Attend a mandatory summer co-op information session which will be held virtually in April.
  You will receive a Teams meeting invitation to attend this session. Date to be determined.
  Please check your school email on a regular basis for more information.
  
  
• Attend mandatory pre-placement sessions which will be held virtually on the following dates:
  • May 7, May 14, May 21, and May 28 from 6-9pm

 

• Attend mandatory integration sessions which will be held virtually on the following dates:
  • July 3, July 10, and July 17 from 7-9pm

 

• Attend mandatory final integration session which will be held virtually on July 22 from 9am-3pm

 

• Attend co-op placement from July 2 to July 29 (Monday to Friday) for full work days

 

 

Please note:

 

• Co-op placement hours cannot be completed in the evening or on weekends
  
  
• Co-op placements must be located within the geographic boundaries of the LDCSB
  
  
• Some placements may require proof of immunizations or a criminal background check
  
  
• Grade 10 students who apply for summer co-op MUST have completed and passed GLC2O (Career Studies) by June 28, 2024
