Summer School

Summer School is a great option for students who wish to complete an additional credit, upgrade a mark by repeating a course, or take part in Summer School Cooperative Education for experiential learning.

Summer School is an elective educational opportunity. Given the amount of learning hours (110) that are required in such a short duration (20 days), Summer School may not be a good option for all learners.

Summer School offerings are subject to enrollment numbers and the hiring of a teacher. View the list of potential summer school offerings.

Students Success Support: Please note that there are no Student Success Staff assigned to support Summer School.

International Travel Support: Students travelling within Canada during the 20-days of Summer School will likely have no issues accessing their LDCSB Online Summer School Course and tools, but there is no guarantee.  If you are planning to be outside of Canada for any portion of the 20 days, MFA must be enabled but cannot be guaranteed; therefore, Summer School may not be a good option for this session. Please see the additional details below under “International Travel” for more information.

Online students can access their course shells or teachers starting Thursday, July 2.
