As you know, as of March 1, many COVID-related measures in Ontario changed. The LDCSB will proceed cautiously regarding changing or lifting COVID-related protocols in our schools as we continue to follow the guidance and direction from the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labour and our local health units.
The following two changes are effective immediately:
Participation in athletics and extracurricular activities: The LDCSB recommends but no longer requires students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Spectators at upcoming winter semi-final and final championship athletic events (secondary): up to two spectators per student participant may attend these two events.
We will keep you updated as other protocols change. Please keep in mind that, as has been the case over the past couple of years, protocols can change quickly.
