The London District Catholic School Board believes in the importance of recognizing groups and individuals who have made and continue to make outstanding contributions to Catholic education with the Board.
Reimagined just before the pandemic, the Stewards of Catholic Education Awards recognize local contributions and service to our LDCSB Catholic communities. Nominees may be an individual, family or business/project partners who:
- Have made a notable, significant and positive contribution to Catholic Education
- Have made a Christ-centered contribution to Catholic education
- Actively models service to others in the board and/or school community
- Are outstanding examples of Christian service
- Have striven to build a culture of community and caring
- Have demonstrated leadership in the witness of Gospel values and serve as inspiration to others
- Or have demonstrated actions that reflect and promote the mission and vision of the Board.
This year's recipients are: Safiyah Lawendy, Jansen Family, Colleen Hanley, Kristen Nicholson, and the
