Secondary Courses in the LDCSB: Breakdown of the Final 30%

This page outlines the breakdown of the final 30% for secondary courses in the London District Catholic School Board. Some changes may occur as new course information is available and updated.

Please note: online courses involve a different delivery model that sometimes best supports students by providing alternative pedagogy and assessment and evaluation practices. As a result, the breakdown of the final 30% for online courses differs from in-person courses and does not include a final exam.

According to Growing Success, "Thirty per cent of the grade will be based on a final evaluation administered at or towards the end of the course. This evaluation will be based on evidence from one or a combination of the following: an examination, a performance, an essay, and/or another method of evaluation suitable to the course content. The final evaluation allows the student an opportunity to demonstrate comprehensive achievement of the overall expectations for the course."
