Welcome! Thank you for choosing our Catholic schools for your child’s education.

There is something unique and truly special about education that has faith and spiritual growth at the heart of academic and social learning. The distinct faith-filled experiences offered to our children on their learning journey will help prepare them for a positive future. We believe in our schools as well as the benefit and gift of Catholic education — we hope you will share this belief with us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can my child go to a different school other than their designated school?
Students are required to attend the designated school where they live. Should your child meet the exceptional criteria of a Boundary Exemption and the school has not been deemed a "closed school" you may contact the principal of the school you are required to attend to discuss the criteria for applying for a boundary exemption.

Where can I find school bus information?
Southwestern Ontario Student Transportation Services is responsible for delivering school bus transportation to eligible students. Students must be registered to confirm eligibility. Go to mybigyellowbus.ca to check your address.

My child is not Roman Catholic, how can he/she become Catholic?
Please contact your local Catholic parish to discuss the process.

Is Before and After School Care available?
Each of our schools has partnered with an outside organization to provide an Extended Day and/Before and After School Program. These optional, fee-based programs are run by non-profit organizations. Please note that some schools do not have a program due to lower interest by families. However, we survey families each and every year to determine if a program will be added. Parents are responsible for transportation of children who attend the Extended Day.

Is French Immersion available?
Yes! French Immersion is available in London, St. Thomas and Woodstock. Click here for additional information.

What Will My Child Learn in Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten?
The Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten program is a child-centered, developmentally appropriate, integrated program of learning for four- and five-year old children. The purpose of the program is to establish a strong foundation for learning in the early years, and to do so in a safe and caring play-based environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of all children.

The Full Day Early Learning Kindergarten program reflects the belief that four and five year olds are capable and active learners, full of potential and ready to take ownership of their learning. Teachers and Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) work together to implement a carefully planned program that is challenging and geared to each child’s level of development.

To give each child the best start possible, early learning programs provide a variety of learning experiences and opportunities based on assessment information and the strengths, needs, and interests of the children. The program aims to provide every child with the kind of support he or she needs in order to develop:

  • Self-regulation
  • Health, well-being, and a sense of security
  • Curiosity and confidence in learning
  • Respect of the diversity of his or her peers
