You may access up to 3 brief phone/virtual sessions to receive problem solving and coaching and assistance in navigating to community supports. Mental Health Matters

When: August 17-19 AND August 24-26, 2021

 

Mind On Me is a 6 session, virtual interactive Social-Emotional Learning camp for students entering Grades 1-6. The camp is designed to support resilience, encourage self-regulation, and improve self-confidence while having fun with other kids! Students will do interactive mindfulness and self-care activities, deep breathing exercises, movement, and Faith and Wellness tasks.

 

The camp consists of 6 one-hour "live" virtual classes. Students receive a camp kit full of the materials you need to do a hands-on “make and take” activity at each session. Parent supervision in the home is required.

The Back-to-School Basics are a series of 3 psychoeducational workshops for students entering Grades 7-12. The workshops focus on 3 different areas: coping with change reconnecting with friends, and problem solving. They are designed to help promote skill development for student well-being and success as they transition back to school.

 

These workshops are offered virtually. Students can register for 1 or all 3 workshops and will receive a $10 Tim Horton’s gift card when completed.
